Ada - Lampwork Glass Bead Bracelet in 14K gold-filled

This is a classic single bead design that I’m so used to seeing in the bracelet and necklace stacks all over Turkey for so long, that I just had to make one for my Winter in Bodrum collection. 

Ada was the queen of Carians, who inhabited the Bodrum peninsula and the surrounding Mugla region. She lived around mid-4th century BC. I felt that this was one way to honor her, as glass ingots discovered in archeological digs in the area suggest that glassmaking was already an established trade during her time.

Lampwork glass bead size: 7mm x 6mm

Bracelet length: 15.5 cm - 19.5 cm (adjustable) 

CARE: 

Gold-filled jewelry is made with 14K gold coating up to 100 times thicker than traditional gold-plating. Not only it is a less costly alternative to solid gold, but it is actually more durable. It is water-resistant and will look shiny and new even with decades of wear. Clean your gold-filled jewelry with mild soap and water, then pat dry.
