Velvet Choker with Pearl

Adorn your neck with this handcrafted black velvet choker, whose focal point is a large freshwater coin pearl. The adjustable clasp and chain set in the back is made with sterling silver.

CARE:

Clean with a damp cloth and dry with towel. Dust occasionally with a lint roller. Do not put into the washing machine, do bring into contact with abrasives or chemicals. 

Freshwater pearls need moisture from your skin and contact with air to preserve their color and nacre. If necessary, gently wipe them with a damp cloth and make sure to completely dry after. Do not store with other items that might scratch them. Do follow the “last on, first off” rule and minimize exposure to perfumes, lotions and sprays.

Sterling silver naturally oxidizes when exposed to humidity, perspiration, cosmetics and other chemicals. It is best to put your sterling silver jewelry on last and take it off first. Best stored in an airtight container and polished occasionally with the polishing cloth provided to remove the oxidization.
