We’re donating 50% of our February sales to earthquake victims!
February is all about Valentines Day, it’s the “love month” so to say, right?
Right. And however much we love our jewelry, buying or wearing it is not the only way to show our love.
On February 6, not one but two 7.8 magnitude earthquakes shook southeast Turkey and northern Syria. So far, 40+ thousand have been declared dead. The ones that survived (approximately 15 million people) have lost their homes, loved ones and possibly organs.
As a Turkish-Canadian business owner, this February, I’m donating 50% of all my sales to the earthquake victims in Turkey through a reliable grassroots organization named “Ahbap.” Frankly it’s the only one I can send donations to and not worry about whether they actually reach the earthquake victims or not.
Lastly, I’d only like to reiterate to never take for granted the luxury of having roof over our heads, food on our table, having loved ones in good health or having a stable job/business.
